The Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula arctica) is a seabird in the Auk family.  It is a pelagic species that feeds primarily by diving for fish. Its most obvious characteristic is its brightly colored beak during the breeding season.

Puffins breed in large colonies on coastal cliffs or offshore islands, nesting in crevices among rocks or in burrows in the soil. These are millions of Puffins in Iceland. The largest colonies are in the Westman Islands along the south coast and in the Islands of Breiðafjörður

All the Puffins were photographed in Iceland by Jóhann Óli Hilmarsson.
